She holds his gaze, wishing she had an answer to that question. There's a moment when she wishes he would believe her if she just said yes. But he is a man of action, not words. So, again, she tries to speak his language, albeit in her own way.

She takes in a breath, and starts to rise.

'Let's have a dance.'
